The Lackawanna Blind Association offers a variety of programs and activities in daily living to help individuals maintain their optimal physical health and reduce isolation through social activities:

  • Our monthly calendar of events is available in email, audio, print and braille formats to keep our clients abreast of the latest agency happenings.

Visual Support Center

Magnifying devices, iPads, Tablets and other low-vision aids and home care equipment are displayed for demonstration to clients and consumers by LBA caseworkers in our Visual Support Center. Computer instruction in assistive software for the visually impaired is available to our clients by appointment. We also provide assistance to purchase eye glasses for income-eligible individuals.
