Your Support Will Make a Difference

     The Blind Association is blessed with many dedicated volunteers.  Some people volunteer with the Pell Radio Reading Service, reading newspaper articles and stories over the radio.  Others assist with Crafts Center activities, shopping trips, picnics, and regional excursions.  You can assist the association and benefit personally by sharing some of your time and energy with the blind and visually impaired.  Call the Association at 570-342-7613 to determine how your talents can make a difference in the lives of our clients. 

     Your financial support is also welcome.  As a United Way Agency, The Blind Association receives a portion of its annual funding from the United Way campaign.  However, each year the Blind Association becomes more dependent on alternate funding.  Your contribution, (which can be made in honor of an individual), remembrance (in memory of an individual), or bequest (distributed through your last will and testament) will help fund our beneficial programs.  A card of acknowledgement is sent to the family of the individual (honoree, memorial or bequest) and a card of appreciation is sent to the contributor.  Contributions can be sent to:
