Catch Sight of Our Cause

The Blind Association provides in-home visits by agency social service staff members to ensure that blind and visually impaired clients are capable of maintaining their independence  and enjoying life to its fullest.  The agency provides many instructional, social and rehabilitative classes and programs for clients at the association building in downtown Scranton.  Transportation is provided to client focused events in the agency's own van.

The Blind Association sponsors various social events for clients.  Bingo nights, holiday parties, and a summer picnic are gatherings that blind and visually impaired clients eagerly anticipate.  In addition, the agency regularly schedules day trips throughout northeastern Pennsylvania to enable clients to experience many of the interesting and educational  destinations our area offers.

The Blind Association is the support, educational, recreational, and social provider to its many clients and their families in Lackawanna County.
