The Lackawanna Branch
Pennsylvania Association for the Blind
About the Friends of the Blind
Friends of the Blind assists the agency with raising monies to aid those who are blind or visually impaired. Friends of the Blind includes men and women who are dedicated to helping others and who are willing to give their time and talents to make the major fundraiser a huge success. The steering committee meets as needed. The main function of Friends of the Blind is to assist with the agency's fundraiser, Helen Keller Day, for example, by baking for the bake sale, selling tickets at the door, selling chances at a store or bank beforehand, working at a booth, getting a table of guests together for lunch, or donating a theme basket or door prize. We invite " YOU" to be a part of Friends of the Blind!! Simply contact us at:
